Baker's Beach

Baker's Beach is open to the general public free of charge on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for picnicking from 11:00 AM until 7:00 pm. Soon the town's aluminum roll-a-dock will be extending out into the lake. Carry on/car top boats such as canoes and kayaks can be launched at the beach. Picnickers coming off the lake in boats will be asked to moor their boats out in the water since the dock is only used for loading and unloading passengers and gear. The bathroom facilities are in the process of being refurbished

Grills and picnic tables are placed along the shoreline for those wishing to enjoy the serenity and beauty of one of the town’s biggest assets

When the beach opens for swimming people will be required to wear water shoes because of the zebra mussels that are in the lake. The beach’s pavilion is available to rent for large group gatherings and can be used for special events.

Reserving picnic tables or holding special events at the beach can all be done through the town of Richfield's town clerk, they can be reached at the town office 858-8809 on Mondays-Thursdays from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. No alcoholic beverages are allowed at Baker's Beach.

For the time being there is no charge for the public to use the picnic facilities at Baker’s Beach
